The Leadwerks projection system lets us switch between unlike game projects. A project contains all the files a game uses. Nosotros can make changes to ane project without affecting other projects. To open the project manager, select the File > Project Director menu item in the main menu. The project manager window contains a list of projects and some buttons to do different things.

Creating Projects

To create a new project, just click the New button. This opens the New Project window. This will show several bachelor projection templates, and include fields to enter the projection proper noun and other information.

Offset you demand to choose a project template. You can either chose a blank template, or a game template that sets up a specific type of game.

Next, fill in the name of you new project and choose a suitable location. Past default it will exist placed in the "Documents\Leadwerks\Projects" binder on your figurer.

Updating Projects

Leadwerks is periodically updated with new features. These updates volition become automatically downloaded by Steam, but Leadwerks doesn't modify your projection without permission. To take advantage of new updates, you will want to keep your project up to engagement. The projects list volition display an icon indicating whether whatever new updates are bachelor for your projection. Notice in the screenshot below in that location is a triangle in front end of the TutorialProject. That means there is an update available for this project.
